Spring 2026 has arrived and behind the scenes our members have been busy building new and exciting boats for the Summer Season. Stuart has been building from plans an Admiralty 45ft Fast Motor Boat by Thornycroft. What makes this model special is that the 48 Inch scale hull is made up of 50 planks. Shaping and soaking lime planks and glueing 2 planks per night was quite a challenge but the outcome is very satisfying.

Geoff has also spent many happy hours building his Micro Magic Sailing Yacht. The Photograph shows it in action 29th March. We look forward to seeing both new boats in action during Summer 2026.
